This was a refrigerator magnet I saw for sale in Chicago at Navy Pier. I didn't want to buy it because I don't want to look at Mr. Cheetos Face on my refrigerator forever, but I snapped a pic of it and keep forgetting to post it.

Well, to a generation raised to believe 'reality TV' is reality, it probably does look like as good a reason as any...

Think about it: that was a primary reason for a lot of people to support him at RPF in the beginning. Back when the debates first started last summer, I enjoyed watching the GOP squirm, even though I always said I'd never vote for him. At some point, it stopped being funny. At this point, I'd take Ted Cruz back... I don't like him either -- at all. But at least I know he wouldn't do anything.

Westmoreland Co. Home “Trumps” All Others This Election Season
YOUNGSTOWN (KDKA) — Rolling down Route 982 in Youngstown, Westmoreland County, you may pass a house with an American flag, and then you’ll pass the house next door, which is an American flag. Though there are some who don’t pass it by. Leslie Rossi hands out Donald Trump hats and other freebies to visitors who keep showing up. With a huge banner and multiple signs supporting her candidate, there is no doubt who she and her family are voting for. The mother of eight and her friends aren’t bashful about making their feelings known. But neither are the drivers. “Here we’ll get a lot of honks and waves,” she says. “Sometimes I’ll get a thumbs down. But we’ll just wave anyway. Sometimes they’ll yell for the candidate they’re for, if it’s different.” More: pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2016/07/12/westmoreland-co-home-trumps-all-others-this-election-season/

And now he's alienating everyone--but particularly his own party--by pretending to let the cat out of the bag about ISIS. But, of course, he puts it in Obama's lap, as if Obama is anything other than a brainless figurehead, and tries to make a serious subject partisan. And he doesn't follow up. And he does everything he can to impart the impression that it's the random outcry of a madman.
It's a bizarre and dangerous game. It could defang those trying to get the truth out. It certainly is creating an equal and opposite reaction among those who strongly wish to remain in denial, and don't want to know what's really going on. But then, it could backfire in their faces.
Unfortunately, there's no way it backfires before the election...
