By now, we’ve all gotten used to the “Make America Great Again!” hats that Donald Trump and his supporters are often seen in. But team Trump unveiled a new twist on an old favorite Wednesday, and it’s ... unconvincing. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, two prominent Trump backers, were both seen wearing “Make Mexico Great Again Also” hats at a Trump rally in Arizona Wednesday. This is probably part of Trump’s so-called “immigration pivot,” but let’s be entirely clear: Those hats aren’t fooling anybody. It's pretty difficult to believe that Trump, Giuliani, or Sessions cares about making Mexico great. www.bustle.com/articles/181864-why-donald-trumps-make-mexico-great-again-also-hats-arent-fooling-anybody

He had better watch that. Several Californians might be of the opinion that the last time Mexico was great was when California was a part of it. And most Texans believe the last time Mexico was great was before the Alamo.
These people might just be wondering what Trump has in mind...

The new Trump supporters' slogan seems to be, Donald Trump is Too Complex for You to Understand. Balderdash. Donald Trump is a narcissist. He was born, he was served a New York City real estate empire on his silver spoon, he broke it by bleeding it dry, and he got it bailed out on the backs of his creditors and both New York taxpayers and all the taxpayers of the nation. He found that arrangement so satisfactory he did it three more times. He used his massive accumulation of bling, and certain publications of, by and for the narcissistic like Vanity Fair, to make a household name of himself. He parlayed that fame into a few book deals, and eventually a minor television career. He utilized the name recognition, a lifetime of buying Democrats and a long time friendship with the Clintons to launch a presidential campaign. It was a clown campaign driven by nonstop coverage from the Clinton-owned media. Maybe he had a good idea that his clown candidacy could win, bad as the campaign was, against Clinton's bitch candidacy. Maybe it came as a surprise to him. But there's nothing Clinton can do about it because he played by her rules--it was her miscalculation. As for Trump, he used to pay bribes, and now he gets paid bribes. He used to buy jet fuel and maintenance for his own Boeing and now you provide the fuel, the maintenance and the Boeing. And Trump likes it. There, in a nutshell, is the full depth and every nuance of Donald J. Trump. The U.S. has been an empire since World War II. FDR told Churchill, 'We'll pull your chestnuts out of the fire, but when we're done, the oil-rich lands we drive the Axis out of are our Empire, not yours.' These nations use our currency. They may not use it for every little transaction. But they never sell oil for anything else. If they do sell their oil for something else, they know they'll immediately be subject to Death From Above (TM). So, they use our money or get their asses kicked. In other words, they're colonies. And the banks that own the Federal Reserve can print like Zimbabwe. And instead of the hundred dollar bill having the real value of a nickel, like in Zimbabwe, the one dollar bill has the real value of a nickel. All because nations need dollars to buy oil, and that increases demand and balances supply somewhat. The fact that the empire is a republic isn't contradictory. Athens was a democracy and an empire. All that was needed to pull that off is a few silver-tongued Navy shipbuilders convincing the public it's more fun to fight and sack cities than to work and be productive. None of this is hard to understand. Trump will tell you what he is himself, if you can plow through the pedantic, third grade verbiage of his books. Only a few of the Empire's wars are secrets. The only problem is, it's so hard to believe the mainstream media can fool us into falling for this stuff it tends to cause us a state if denial.

Billy Currington explained it best. God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy. I guess I'm just a little taken aback by how many people I assumed were sane turn out not to be. I know, I should know better by now. I learned how the bell curve works with determining sanity and what is normal. Turns out, what is considered normal, keeps changing all the time. What's normal in one society may not be normal in another. Depends on who is determining what's normal. Of course to be normal, one must be sane.

To be normal, one must not be sane. It's a common misconception. But the fact is, a firm grip on reality is anything but the norm today.

If you ask those making the charts, they will say normal is sane. It's relative to the population being studied and who is determining what's normal. I agree, typically, sanity is not the norm, but the exception.

It only seems weird if you think they fell under some spell, lost their minds, etc. In other words: changed. Things begin to be clearer if we realize that most or all of them were always the way they are now.

And now he changes his mind about Syria.
He may only ever wear Gucci loafers and pumps. But no beach or redneck barbeque in all the world has ever seen as many flip flops as his still-brief political career.

Most of us didn't see that. We were all so hopped up about Ron Paul and wanted to believe there was a massive and unified movement that we didn't see the subtle differences. Plus, the primary strategy of the alt-right has been to blend in with the crowd to piggyback their movement. They used us: Ron Paul got a reputation for tolerating/fostering racist support, and they got the White House. That's why I'm so hard on trumpcucks at RPF, because letting opposing ideologies be your voice can do long-term damage to a movement.
