We just had a 5.6 earthquake some fifty miles away. I can hear the Californians yawning already, but that's the biggest since the seismograph was introduced to the state, and Fox has been blathering about it for half an hour. News by the idiots, of the idiots, and for the idiots. They cut to a live report from one of their brilliant reporters, who was showing us her unbroken and seemingly undisturbed dishes sitting quietly on her shelves. Doesn't sound very educational, does it? But we did learn something--we learned that the woman has no clue when she's holding her camera upside-down. I'll link the footage if they're actually stupid enough to post the clip of this classic moment on their website. Meanwhile, here's their page... www.fox23.com/news/earthquake-felt-across-green-country/436453819

Well, they could have all been professional enough to hold their cameras right-side-up. But, I admit, that would have made their silly gushing and their live reporting on something that was already over and done awfully damned boring.
