I want to hear predictions regarding Trumps presidency. I have some myself but I'm hoping some of you will post yours first.

Well on a lot of issues its too early to guess. It seems so far like Trump wants to angle to keep all of his supporters from this time for his reelection. The question I guess is whether he will do more than just lip service for the "liberty" people who supported talking to "our" people. We know he called Rand over Obamacare, but that doesn't tell us that Trump's going to push for healthcare liberty. So far it seems like he will leave that stuff up to Congress, and we all know they suck.
Judge Nap talked to Trump about SCOTUS and said their are no real surprises on the list, in other words Trump is going to pick someone along the lines of what he promised. I see no reason to think he would lie to the Judge at this point. Of course its nice that he's at least talking to Judge Napolitano. But I'm sure he's talking to dozens of bad people too.
I wouldn't say I'm optimistic he will pick a liberty guy, and we could end up with a drug warrior or some backstabber like in the past. But it sounds like he won't be nominating his liberal sister if that's any consolation.
It sounds like he's going for a more "moderate" presidency. As usual with that word that mostly sucks, but maybe we won't have to show our papers everywhere which was a possibility. haven't heard anything about border stuff, which I have mixed feeling about. Sounds like we are still screwed on healthcare, but who knows. As we know Congress voted to increase the debt by 10 trillion and not a word out of Trump against it.

Oh, sounds like we won't be going to war with Russia. That is good news, but I've never been convinced our saber rattling was more than BS anyway. So I'm not as relieved as some people are.

I'm of the opinion the sabre rattling was deadly serious. I think Hillary really wanted open war with the Ruskies.

Well, I suspect she was upset because Russia was helping Assad.

I am making no predictions. because this whole situation is, um, unpredictable.
Seriously, it is.
I was strongly against him a year ago. Then the SJWs went crazy and I actually could empathize with their ridiculous attacks.
Now he is talking to Judge Nap-- after the election!!!
I still don't trust him, but I will wait with my eyes open.
I guess my only two prediction are 1 a big riff will form again on RPFs when Trump goes after liberties. Right now it's relatively peaceful because he has made some pro-liberty moves and the attacks against him so far have mostly been stupid, but if he goes nazi-retard, his true supporters will battle with the true supporters of liberty such as myself.
My second prediction is that if he is the real deal for liberty, the banks and the intelligence agencies will plunge us into a depression, a war or both.

Business as usual.
More regulations, more splendid little middle eastern wars, more poverty, more government meddling in the name of allegedly alleviating that poverty, a few tens of thousands of pages of more regulations, more corporate welfare (though more likely in casinos and less likely in solar power), and closer to the brink of the house of cards collapsing as it did in 2008.
I do expect progress in one area, though. I believe mankind will elevate the art of dividing and conquering to a scientific fare-thee-well. The techniques of distraction, deflection, and convincing people to blame everyone for crimes committed against them except the actual criminals to advance by leaps and bounds.

Well, I suspect she was upset because Russia was helping Assad. That is nothing new, they always have. It just seemed to me she was fixated on poking the bear, relentlessly.

Well, something doesn't seem right. Obama says, "Assad has to go." But why? Then the line in the sand about chemical weapons. I suspect somebody other than Assad may have used chemical weapons to force the issue. It just doesn't smell right. What has Assad done that makes them want him gone?

I'm expecting a recession in the next year or two, how it goes from that point I don't care to predict. We can only hope it ends with a economic upturn like 1982. As for the liberty thing, ya, we just have to wait and see. I think there will be some improvements and in some area's such as the surveillance and police state it's going to get worse.

Good to see you here acp. I may be crazy, but I think he's going to meddle in South America more than the middle east. And I'm hoping you're wrong on the regulations.

How can we know he was doing what they claimed he was doing if the same people who told them what he was doing, are the ones who said there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq?
