‘He has best CIA stuff’: WikiLeaks nominates Assange to run Trump’s ‘US-Russia cyber security unit’ Published time: 10 Jul, 2017 03:20 The whistleblowing website Wikileaks has suggested that Donald Trump appoint Julian Assange as the chief of the joint cyber security unit as discussed with President Vladimir Putin. Trump, however, clarified that discussions do not mean any plans for such unit are in the works. On Sunday, Trump announced on Twitter that among other pressing issues he and his Russian counterpart had “discussed” was creating “an impenetrable Cyber Security unit.” WikiLeaks was quick to respond and nominated Assange, the whistleblowing platform’s founder, to run the unit. “Why not put @julianassange in charge of it? He's trusted by the public and has the CIA’s best stuff anyway,” Wikileaks said in a sarcastic tweet, linking the message to the Vault 7 series of documents which revealed the CIA’s espionage programs. Appointing Assange might prove to be, kind of difficult, considering that he is wanted by the Americans for being involved in leaking US government secrets. He is sought in the US over WikiLeaks publications, even though Swedish authorities in May this year withdrew the allegations of sexual assault – the accusations which forced the Australian to seek refuge in the Ecuadorian embassy in London in 2012. UK police insist that Assange would still be arrested if he left the embassy because he had broken his bail conditions and failed to surrender despite an arrest warrant being issued for him. www.rt.com/viral/395830-assange-trump-cyber-security-unit/

The language surrounding this thing is... interesting...
So Trump wants '...election hacking, and many other negative things, [to] be guarded.' What does he want election hacking and many other negative things guarded from? Discovery? Investigation? Termination?
And then there's Aunt Lindsey: “When it comes to Russia I am dumbfounded, I am disappointed, and at the end of the day he’s hurting his presidency by not embracing the fact that Putin is a bad guy,”
So Putin as a bad guy is something that needs to be 'embraced'. Is that not an odd choice of words? Facts are generally discovered, realized and acknowledged, not 'embraced'. Things like strategies, ideas for advertising campaigns, and subterfuges are what is generally 'embraced'.
Now maybe I'm reading too much into this. I know guys with third grade vocabularies often express things in an interesting way, and that guys who are queer as three dollar bills use the language in an unusual manner. Still, these statements seem, um, enlightening...

No, I suppose not. Though somehow I always expect him to say, '...needs to be swallowed.'
