I had crispy onion rings (my first time making that), a big salad and some leftover rice and beans.
Loosely based on this recipe:

Mr A and one son requested burgers and #2 son and I are going to have salmon. I was eating for comfort last night and feel pregnant with a food baby today. Sadly, I didn't even eat a meal. I just snacked all night. I guesstimate I ate about 10 Peppermint Patties, a bag of tortilla chips, a couple of spoons of peanut butter, some pretzel chips and hummus and since I felt like I hadn't eaten anything healthy, I had a salad before I went to bed but I didn't want to be too healthy so I put a handful of bacon bits on it.

Bacon. I keep a bacon stockpile in my freezer and I let Mr A get into it today. He was so happy.

I went to Aldis today and bought two big boxes of salad mix. I can't get enough of this stuff. I swear thwy're growing this lettuce in crack.
My favorite salad at the moment is Aldi's spring mix, stuffed olives from Aldis (I like the Blue cheese stuffed and the garlic stuffed), a few cherry tomatoes, croutons, and a little bacon tossed in Aldis three cheese vinaigrette.

I've been eating all day. I was upset last week and didn't eat much - when I get upset, I don't feel like eating. I feel better now and damn, I pigged out. Today I had a burger (1/4), 2 big salads, a bowl of applesauce, a handful of almonds every time I've passed through the kitchen, and two Hershey's Kisses I found when I was cleaning up. The Kisses were a little sketchy and I almost threw them away but my inner pig took control and the wrapping seemed intact so I figured, what the hell. I found them under the sofa today. I was gonna clean the living room yesterday but I swear there was a giant fucking spider in the vacuum. I hate carpet and only have one rug too big to shake out so I keep this crappy little vac in the garage and a spider moved in. I guess I needed to empty the dog hair out the vac anyway.

Wish I could give you a chocolate chip peanut butter cookie.
I've added chocolate chips to peanut butter cookie mix before and had them come out too soft to pick up in one piece. But cutting the amount of oil by a third fixes that.

Weird meal tonight. I started off not hungry but then I got hungry and just started cooking all kinds of stuff. We have salad, baked potatoes, baked sweet potatoes, broiled cauliflower and Brussel sprouts, boiled shrimp, and cheese bread. I had some hot dog buns in the freezer and my son pulled them out and made garlic cheese bread with them. OMG, they smell so good.

I was going to have a bit of rotisserie chicken on a salad but my son came in and saw me the plate with a WHOLE picked chicken on it and starts saying how he's "starving" and asks if that's for dinner. I say, yeah and he takes the WHOLE plate. WTF? A whole chicken? I let him have it.
Earlier, Mr A and number two son said they weren't very hungry but wanted something to eat so I fixed a huge serving of roasted veg. It was one of those Sam's Club bags of broccoli/cauliflower/squash/carrots AND I added to that 2 10 oz bags of Brussel sprouts. They ate all of it except one little bowl that I had. I didn't eat more than 2 cups, tops.
I guess I'm having a salad and yogurt. They don't really eat those. They like yogurt but not the kind I buy and they're too lazy to fix themselves a salad. If I fix it for them, they eat it but my lettuce is safe if I make them do it themselves. I used to tease them about being Billy Goats but they're more like a swarm of locusts.
I had big plans for that chicken. I was thinking about making some chicken salad tomorrow and using the rest for chicken and dumplings on Monday.

I'm eating a bowl of my yogurt recipe. It's 1/2 cup of vanilla greek yogurt, a cup of frozen blueberries, and a tablespoon of slivered almonds - I keep measuring cups in the BB's and almonds but I just eyeball the yogurt. Sometimes I add a little shredded unsweetened coconut but I didn't today.
It's so much tastier than the premixed stuff. The only thing is, you have to let the BBs defrost. I usually mix it up and take a shower. By the time I'm decent, it's ready to eat.
As soon as I'm finished eating, I'm running up to the CVS because we're out of soap.
