I voted for Donald Trump because he promised to pursue a new foreign policy. As he said in December, “We will stop looking to topple regimes and overthrow governments. Our goal is stability, not chaos, because we want to rebuild our country.” He vowed to appoint those with “new approaches, and practical ideas, rather than surrounding myself with those who have perfect résumés but very little to brag about except responsibility for a long history of failed policies.” More: www.latimes.com/opinion/op-ed/la-oe-raimondo-trump-betrayal-antiwar-20170421-story.html

I must have sent Raimondo about 20 tweets over the last couple of weeks with news stories about Syria and my comment "I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY" 😡I remember when we were evaluating Trump at RPF, it was mentioned that he promised to put 30K troops on the ground in Syria during one of the debates. (Ironically, it was dannno who posted it...said it was a deal breaker.) How did antiwar libertarians miss that? Did it suddenly not matter because "THE WALL! THE WALL! HE'S GOING TO BUILD US A WALL!!" I don't even want a wall. Walls can eventually be used to keep US in.

Yeah, I betrayed you to support the guy you said would betray us, and he did. So now that I've been betrayed, you should listen to me again, even though you know you're smarter than me but I don't listen to you.
Raimondo, you were betrayed by Trump, but we were betrayed by you and Trump both. And you still have a job. Can you hear our itty bitty violins playing?

All of these people who could have helped Rand Paul run against the wind, but for whatever reason--pressure in the case of Rockwell and Raimondo, sheer laziness in most cases--are invoking the 'Clinton's greater evil' excuse, and the 'How was I to know?' excuse, and begging for (actually demanding) absolution.
I have none for them. They could have helped me stand with Rand. Instead we're bent over. Again.
Anyone who expects me to do anything other than beat them over the head with it until they have a headache that lasts them four years is out of luck.
After World War II, the French shaved the heads of collaborators. Not bad. I could go for that.
