Nancy Pelosi said on Fox News Sunday this morning, when asked by Wallace if the Democrats would retake either house of Congress, 'That's so unimportant.' I'm sure Democrats everywhere appreciate that very much.
Some would say that's an admission that they're unlikely to make any serious inroads. But from what I've seen of the ACA repeal effort, and the refusal of the Republicans to do a straight repeal, I have a different theory. It sounds to me like an admission that a goodly number of the so-called Republicans in Congress are, in fact, Democrats. Or, if they aren't, Demopublicans and Republicrats are so similar at this point that it just doesn't matter.
But to have Pelosi admit as much on Fox is kind of unexpected. Too bad Wallace didn't follow up and draw out her real meaning, the way an actual journalist would have done.

The problem is say whatever and mean whatever she wants and in 6 months say she meant something else. The American voter has the attention span of a gnat. just take away the banana and put a peach there and they are fine.
