Washington State voters with some well financed brainwashing just voted to make owning and buying a gun more expensive and more difficult. Do they really think this is going to "keep them safer"? Fools!

Washington State Passes Universal Background Checks via Ballot Measure

The voters in Washington state on Tuesday voted in favor of universal background checks.
Previously, private sales of firearms between two law abiding citizens was legal without a background check was completely legal (this is the law in most states).
Now, all sales of firearms, even sales between individuals, will have to go through an FFL dealer.

A competing measure, which would have outlawed universal background checks, even in I-594 passed, failed to pass.

This election was highly contested and was likely one of the most expensive ballot measure campaigns in the country. Several billionaires including Bill Gates, Paul Allen, and Michael Bloomberg spent millions of dollars to get this legislation passed.
Proponents of universal background checks say that they will keep firearms out of the hands of criminals while opponents say they are simply a burden on law abiding gun owners.
