This sounds like a good move. I make sure all my tech gear is not only indigenously designed and developed, but produced as well. I encourage others to do the same. The procurement aspect is pretty simple once it's been designed, developed and produced. Generally speaking procurement involves Denaro. Basically as long as they are indigenous and you are filthy rich things can be worked out. Bartering with firewater works in some situations as well.
